We enjoyed meeting you, Ed, at the Kenny Burrell concert. When we are up in your neck of the woods, we will stop in to enjoy your venue. What you have going there is very rare.

Now that you've posted one of Malcolm Holcombe's tunes (that happens to be one of my personal faves by him), how about releasing a full live CD from the gig!

How in the heck did anyone from the west coast get Malcolm Holcombe to play? Too bad I just found out about it - it's tomorrow night. Maybe I'll make the drive from L.A. after all; I love that guy!

Just a quick note to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who works and toils so very hard behind the scenes to make the tales shows so great!
The new venue just showed that wherever people of like mindedness gather and allow an artist the ability of sharing their gift without the usual conflicts associated with "bar scenes" Magic happens! (And for whatever it's worth...I don't mind staying up late once in a while for something worth while!)

Once again thank you for providing one of the best small concert venues in the country.
The diverse roster of artists that have played there is a testament to the great awareness that you possess.
The audience that has become such an integral part of this series is also to be commended for being so receptive and open minded.
This is a series of great substance with every artist having something to say.
It has truly been my pleasure and honor to be a part of Tales From The Tavern.

I have enjoyed the Tales from the Tavern CD Vol. 1 tremendously, you did excellent work compiling the songs as if I were there at the venue, which I hope to attend someday, the artists are great, they perform with such a vivid & sincere presence, thanks!

I have never been to a Tales From the Tavern concert, but I have the compilation CD Vol 1, the Michael Smith CD and the Michael on Fire CD. I'm thankful you are bringing all these amazing artists and storytellers together in your series because otherwise, those of us who haven't been brought up with this American musical tradition may have never been exposed to some of this extraordinary talent. If I lived in the USA I would be at the next series of concerts, but unfortunately I will just have to wait for the CDs.
Great work, guys.
